Wrapping fabric...

around anything is so soothing I find.  It's a great way to use up those scraps that I can't bear to part with.

I don't really know what to do with it next.  For now it shall just flit from one place to another.

Some birds maybe?  We shall see how it evolves.  I will be looking our for more of those to dress up.

I worked on these stools a long time ago but never got round to taking any photos.  A second hand shop bargain.

Some sewing. A simple drawstring bag.

Too delicious.  There is always time for baking.

I found this wrapping paper at the supermarket.  I loved it and didn't want to use it for it's intended purpose. I thought it would look much better like this.
Cheap, cheap wallpaper.  It's only on a small corner wall but that's plenty.  More would be way too much for me.
I hope the sun is shining wherever you are.

The beauty of nature...

Sitting in the garden last evening I spotted this:

Do you see what I see?  I think it's amazing.

Have a lovely weekend.

Pins, love, buttons...

At the wonderful age of 18 I thought it was about time my big girl owned a special needlecase

I loved making this, finding scraps that I knew meant something to her.

She loved the tie (rescued from a pair of shorts she had when she was about 7!).  The things I keep!

There are many of these around.  I was inspired by this beautiful one at nanacompany.

Have a beautiful week.  The sun is keeping me happy.

Thank you...

Hawthorn for thinking of me...
I hope you like the flowers

I would like to pass the award to some of my favourites :

Sweet Birdy Love - Claire makes beautiful tea cosies (my one and only tea cosy comes from her), gorgeous crochet and an amazing garden.
Unravelled-blog.blogspot.com - Emily does beautiful crochet and  has a wonderful recipe for gingerbread (Nana's Gingerbread) is the best I have tried).
Lorraineyoungpottery.blogspot.com - Lorraine's ceramics are beautiful and adorable.
