Wrapping fabric...

around anything is so soothing I find.  It's a great way to use up those scraps that I can't bear to part with.

I don't really know what to do with it next.  For now it shall just flit from one place to another.

Some birds maybe?  We shall see how it evolves.  I will be looking our for more of those to dress up.

I worked on these stools a long time ago but never got round to taking any photos.  A second hand shop bargain.

Some sewing. A simple drawstring bag.

Too delicious.  There is always time for baking.

I found this wrapping paper at the supermarket.  I loved it and didn't want to use it for it's intended purpose. I thought it would look much better like this.
Cheap, cheap wallpaper.  It's only on a small corner wall but that's plenty.  More would be way too much for me.
I hope the sun is shining wherever you are.

  1. Hey Liz what gorgeous wrapping paper.........
Love the stools with their 'makeovers'.....they now have personality plus some.

The lamp shade and birds would go well together, or maybe even some repurposed crocheted doilies sewn onto the 'ribs' of the shade......

Lots of great things going on at your place I see....
