Then with the wind and the falling leaves came half-term and a break in Paris...

My favourite lamposts

A lot of walking for all

...and shopping!

Now, there's a car! Love it!

I love Paris and see it differently now that I don't live there anymore. There is still so much to see and enjoy.

Then came Autumn... and this cute little wild bunny had to be rescued from the claws of our bad kitty, Coco. We named him Cottontail and he was soon joined by a second lucky bunny, Flopsy.

Alas, being wild bunnies they were not happy confined to a plastic tub surrounded by metal bars so as soon as they started manifesting their discontent we let them find their way back into the big bad world of cats and such like bunny predators!

Autumn was also the time of wedding bells for my niece in Sunnyvale, California.

Beautiful flowers, beautiful cake, beautiful table settings, beautiful bride and groom...

Last days of summer

              Beach Art

Summer went way on into the end of September.  We had some glorious days hence our final dash to the beach but the water was oh not so gloriously warm...

The last days of summer are upon us...

I've taken the time to catch up on some sewing...

...and some of us always find time for a kip!

Long moments of quiet...

A quiet home today.  The children have all gone back to school after two months of late nights, lazy mornings, continuous play and lots more.  I have lots of catching up to do in all areas.
